Returning Students

If you are a student who has a break in enrollment from NGTC for two or more semesters and meet current admissions requirements for your selected program of study, you can re-enroll by following two easy steps:

Step 1

Complete Your Application

Provide the following items to the Admissions Office on or before the enrollment deadline:

  1. A completed Application
  2. *Note:  No application fee is required of former credit-seeking students
  3. Residency documentation to qualify for in-state tuition. Be sure to fully and accurately answer all residency questions on the application.  Additional proof of Georgia residency may also be required if you are seeking in-state tuition.

Step 2

Provide Secondary School Transcripts

Not needed for Returning Students.

Step 3

Provide Post-Secondary Transcripts

Submit sealed copies of all post-secondary official transcripts accrued since previous enrollment at North Georgia Technical College. Opened transcripts are not official and therefore are invalid.

If you have attended secondary or post-secodary schools outside the United States, you must have those transcripts translated and evaluated by an approved outside organization. NGTC accepts transcripts evaluated by

Provide Placement Test Scores

Not required for Returning Students unless results are more then 5 years old.

Check Progress

I’m Finished! What’s Next?

Once you have completed these steps and submitted all required documents, you will receive
an acceptance letter in the mail. You can check the progress of your application by clicking here.
